For business expansion, NetPlay acquired various business alliances, including NetPlay TV Series Ltd., Mobileworkflow Ltd., NetPlay TV Mobile Ltd., GB Promotions Ltd., Mchex Holdings Ltd., NetPlay TV Gaming Ltd., Stream Telecommunications Ltd., NetPlay Trustees Ltd., and NetPlay TV Leisure Ltd.
As of March 2008, NetPlay completely acquired 7,600 quiz games for mobile phones from Rubberduck Consulting Limited, provider of download games. In addition, the company acquired Bingos.com, a television entertainment show, in April 2008. In January 2009, the company acquired Toucanwin.com, the mobile skill and gambling businesses of Info-download Limited, a subordinate firm of the producer of community and entertainment services and products for the Internet and mobile gadgets, Zed Worldwide, S.A.
On December 15, 2008, NetPlay TV launched its currently acquired property, the licensed 24-hour Freeview Channel of Freeview Channel NetPlay TV Plc (Freeview), an interactive gaming firm and the largest digital television platform in the United Kingdom with more than 15.3 million subscribers. Freeview comprises 86.7% of the UK’s average households, having 2.7 million TV sets.
